Guideline for Project
LAST EVALUATION.
JUNE 2015.
Objective: Develop
language structure, summarize ideas, and acquire Science knowledge while
improving Spelling, Writing, and Grammar skills.
Project Description: students will be assigned with a vertebrate
animal in order to have an oral presentation; kids must make a poster, and give
general information about it.
1.
Kids
will present information in English in the following dates:
Kids that have animals that belong to
the following groups:
Fish / amphibians
June 3rd

Reptiles / Birds
June 4th
|
Mammals
June 5th
|
2.
Kids
must explain characteristics about the assigned animal, information must
include:
a) Which
group they belong to.
b) Main
characteristics:
·
Size
·
Body Shape
·
Body Covering
c) Where
it lives.
d) How
it lives.
3.
Poster
must have the following characteristics:
Title
(Name of Animal)
* Group it belongs to
*Characteristics (Size, Body
Shape, Body Covering, or any other information that was found)
*Where it lives
*How it lives
*Picture (labeled with main
parts of body)

4.
General
presentation:
a) Kids
presentation should last 3 to 5 minutes; each student, it should be in English.
b) Poster
must be the size of a “cartulina”. Handwriting must be legible and with an
excellent presentation.
c) Kids
will be graded in the following areas:

Presentation of materials
·
Oral expression (speaking and
writing)
·
Spelling (in the poster)
·
Grammar (in oral presentation)
5.
Note:
Kids are free to add more information as long as they
don’t exceed the minute time frame. Kids
can be as creative as they wish.
6.
It
will be in teams of three.
7.
Teacher
will assigned the topic.
8.
They
will work during classtime.
9.
Bring
all the material you need, this will be grade too.
If any
doubts, please do not hesitate to come to teacher.
